In addition to the Family Activity Trail, the Friends of Limpsfield Common and the National Trust have now completed the new “Easy Access Trail”, an additional trail aimed at providing access for members of the community who need some support to visit the Common.
The new Easy Access Trail, which starts at the High Chart car park, is now completed. Thanks go to Julie Ludbrook, who is a member of the Tandridge Access Group, has MS and uses a mobility scooter, for trialling the new trail. Julie loved the route and thought it should suit most people’s needs.
Julie said “It was a pleasure to test the Easy Access Trail and a big thank you to the Friends of Limpsfield Common for taking the time and effort to make what can often be an arduous trip very easy to use. I don’t get the chance to do this very often as there are not that many types of woodland that are accessible. It was wonderful using the trail on my mobility scooter and being out in the woods amongst nature”.
There is a map at the High Chart car park which gives you instructions for the route, otherwise please find it here for download.
