A little reminder that members of the public should not help themselves to the cut log piles on Limpsfield Chart/Limpsfield Common. These are managed by the volunteer Task Force.

Some of the piles are there permanently for biodiversity (homes for hedgehogs, mice, beetles, fungae etc etc) and some are for loading up to go to our nearby storage point for later in the year, when there will be an opportunity for logs to be collected, with a donation made to fund the equipment used by the Task Force volunteers.
